A Micropile is a little-diameter (normally lower than twelve inches), drilled and grouted replacement pile that generally is strengthened. A micropile is manufactured by drilling a borehole, putting reinforcement, and grouting the opening. Micropiles can withstand axial and/or lateral masses, and may be deemed a substitute for conventional piles or
